Angel A. Aguero is a fugitive charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
He's considered armed and dangerous, she said.
Aguero is wanted for allegedly killing Dashon Lee, 35, also of Vineland, she said.
At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, Vineland police responded to a 911 call at the Asselta Acres Apartments on Axtell Avenue.
Police found Lee in a parking lot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, the prosecutor said.
Lee was taken to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland where he was pronounced dead, she said.
Aguero is still at large and authorities including the U.S. Marshals Service are searching for his whereabouts, Webb-McRae said on Wednesday afternoon, March 13.
"The public should not approach him," she said.
